1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the access, use, reservation, contribution, purchase, registration, authentication, and ownership-related processes connected to RIMAU 1925 The Founder's Edition.

By accessing this website, submitting a reservation, placing a pre-order, making a contribution, registering an edition, using the authentication system, or participating in any related RIMAU 1925 The Founder's Edition programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not proceed with any reservation, contribution, purchase, registration, or use of the related services.

2. Project Owner

RIMAU 1925 The Founder's Edition is developed, managed, and offered by Kr8iv Sdn Bhd through Imaginaria Studios, unless otherwise stated.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "we", "us", "our", "RIMAU 1925", "The Founder's Edition", and "the Project" may refer to Kr8iv Sdn Bhd, Imaginaria Studios, and/or authorised representatives involved in the development, management, production, fulfilment, verification, and administration of RIMAU 1925 The Founder's Edition.

3. Nature of The Founder's Edition

RIMAU 1925 The Founder's Edition is a premium numbered collector's publication created in conjunction with the official RIMAU 1925 motion picture, a cinematic biographical feature inspired by the early life, love, and formative journey of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The Founder's Edition is a pre-order publication currently in development. It is not a completed publication at the time reservations open, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Final content, design, format, page count, artwork, materials, packaging, memorabilia, delivery timelines, verification features, recognition details, privileges, and associated benefits may be subject to development, production schedules, approvals, availability, technical readiness, and final confirmation by the RIMAU 1925 team.

4. Pre-Order and Reservation

A reservation or pre-order indicates your intention to secure an edition within the relevant numbered publication category, subject to confirmation, payment, availability, verification, and allocation by the RIMAU 1925 team.

Submission of a reservation form does not guarantee acceptance, allocation of a specific serial number, edition category, recognition benefit, event access, autograph, film credit, or any special privilege unless expressly confirmed in writing by the RIMAU 1925 team.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, cancel, review, verify, or request further information in relation to any reservation, contribution, order, or registration.

5. Edition Categories

The Founder's Edition may include the following numbered categories:

The First 300 Signature Reserve

Serial Numbers 0001 to 0300

The Founding Patron Edition

Serial Numbers 0301 to 1924 Contribution: RM19,250 per edition

The Dedication Copies

Serial Numbers 1925 and 1926 Reserved respectively for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Tun Dr Hasmah Mohamad Ali

The Numbered Collector's Edition

Serial Numbers 1927 – 9999

Edition categories, numbering, allocation methods, privileges, recognition, and availability may be updated, refined, or adjusted by the RIMAU 1925 team where necessary, provided that confirmed reservations are handled in accordance with the applicable reservation terms.

6. Serial Number Allocation

Serial numbers are allocated at the discretion of the RIMAU 1925 team, unless a specific number is expressly confirmed in writing.

Requests for preferred serial numbers may be submitted but are not guaranteed.

Certain serial numbers may be reserved for dedication, auction, private placement, institutional presentation, special release, internal allocation, Founding Patron allocation, or other project-related purposes.

7. Contribution and Payment

The Founding Patron Edition is available at RM19,250 per edition, unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms, payment method, currency, transaction charges, taxes, administrative fees, and payment gateway requirements may vary depending on the reservation category, location, payment provider, and applicable laws.

All payments must be made through the official payment method or invoicing process approved by the RIMAU 1925 team.

A payment confirmation or receipt does not guarantee fulfilment of any special request unless the relevant reservation, serial number, recognition name, and category have been confirmed.

8. Recognition and Privileges

Certain edition categories, including the Signature Reserve and Founding Patron Edition, may carry selected recognition, access, and privileges.

These may include, where applicable:

  • Recognition as a Founding Patron
  • Listing on the official RIMAU 1925 supporter recognition page
  • Selected recognition in the RIMAU 1925 motion picture credit roll
  • Invitation to a premiere, private screening, or official preview event
  • Access to selected project updates or behind-the-scenes previews
  • Priority access to selected merchandise, collector items, or future publication releases
  • Institutional recognition or display-related materials

All recognition, credits, invitations, access privileges, and benefits are subject to production timelines, credit submission deadlines, formatting requirements, event arrangements, venue capacity, scheduling, platform availability, approval, and final discretion of the RIMAU 1925 team.

No recognition, credit, invitation, privilege, or benefit shall be interpreted as conferring any ownership, copyright, profit share, investment return, decision-making authority, production control, or legal right over the RIMAU 1925 motion picture, publication, brand, intellectual property, or related project assets.

9. Autographed Copies

Autographed copies are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

Any autographed allocation will be subject to timing, health, access, approval, availability, production readiness, and logistical arrangements.

We reserve the right to determine the method, timing, eligibility, and allocation of any autographed edition.

10. Delivery and Fulfilment

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be subject to change due to development, content approvals, production delays, printing schedules, shipping arrangements, customs processing, force majeure events, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.

Delivery costs, taxes, duties, import charges, customs fees, insurance, and handling fees may be borne by the purchaser or recipient unless otherwise stated.

Risk of loss or damage may pass to the recipient upon delivery or according to the applicable delivery terms provided at the time of fulfilment.

11. Product Changes and Final Specification

All visuals, mockups, renders, sample layouts, packaging concepts, descriptions, promotional images, and preview materials are for illustration and presentation purposes only.

The final publication may differ from previews in content, design, size, colour, finish, paper stock, binding, box design, packaging, memorabilia, certificate design, QR code placement, and other production details.

We reserve the right to refine, modify, replace, remove, or update any planned content, feature, design element, material, packaging, benefit, or technical function where necessary due to creative, legal, approval, production, quality, availability, or operational considerations.

12. Authentication and Verification

Each edition will carry an individual serial number and Certificate of Authenticity.

All numbered copies will be supported by basic authenticity verification through the official RIMAU 1925 verification website.

Privileged editions within the Signature Reserve and Founding Patron sequence may carry additional registered provenance features, including owner recognition, private access, transfer records, institutional information, and selected ownership details, subject to privacy preferences, administrative verification, and platform availability.

Use of the verification website may be governed by additional authentication and ownership transfer terms.

13. Ownership Registration and Transfer

Where ownership registration is available, registered owners may be required to provide accurate information for authentication, recognition, transfer, security, and administrative purposes.

Ownership transfer for eligible registered editions must be submitted through the official RIMAU 1925 verification website. The registered owner must log in, submit a transfer request, provide the required new owner details, and complete the verification process.

A transfer will only take effect once reviewed, verified, and approved by the RIMAU 1925 team.

We reserve the right to refuse, delay, or request additional verification for any ownership transfer request where fraud, error, dispute, incomplete information, suspicious activity, or breach of terms is suspected.

14. Privacy and Personal Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By submitting information through our website, reservation form, payment process, verification system, ownership registry, or related communication channels, you consent to the collection, use, storage, processing, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

Sensitive ownership details will not be publicly displayed by default. Recognition names, state, country, edition category, and other non-confidential authentication details may be displayed only in accordance with the relevant privacy preference, consent, and verification settings.

15. Intellectual Property

All RIMAU 1925 names, marks, logos, concepts, designs, artwork, images, written content, edition structures, authentication records, website content, publication materials, promotional assets, creative materials, and related project materials are owned by or licensed to Kr8iv Sdn Bhd and/or its authorised production entities unless otherwise stated.

No part of the website, publication, artwork, mockups, certificates, verification records, campaign materials, or related content may be copied, reproduced, adapted, modified, distributed, transmitted, published, sold, licensed, displayed, or used for any commercial or public purpose without prior written permission.

16. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to reserve or claim an edition through unauthorised means
  • Misrepresent your identity, ownership status, payment status, recognition entitlement, or edition category
  • Tamper with serial numbers, certificates, QR codes, authentication records, or verification systems
  • Create, sell, promote, or distribute counterfeit editions, certificates, replicas, or unauthorised merchandise
  • Use the RIMAU 1925 name, logo, or related materials without permission
  • Interfere with the website, payment system, authentication system, or registry
  • Engage in conduct that may harm the reputation, integrity, or security of RIMAU 1925, Kr8iv Sdn Bhd, Imaginaria Studios, or associated parties

17. No Investment, Equity, or Profit Participation

Reservations, contributions, pre-orders, and purchases connected to The Founder's Edition do not constitute an investment in Kr8iv Sdn Bhd, Imaginaria Studios, the RIMAU 1925 motion picture, or any related entity.

No purchaser, patron, collector, contributor, institution, or supporter shall receive equity, profit participation, revenue share, intellectual property ownership, voting rights, management rights, production control, distribution rights, or any financial return unless separately agreed in a formal written agreement signed by authorised parties.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, reputational loss, loss of data, or loss arising from delay, non-availability, platform interruption, production changes, event changes, or third-party service failure.

Our total liability in relation to any confirmed reservation or purchase shall, where legally permissible, be limited to the amount paid by the relevant purchaser for the affected edition.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

19. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay, failure, change, or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, death, pandemic, government restrictions, war, civil disturbance, supply chain disruption, printing delays, shipping disruption, customs delay, technical failure, payment gateway issues, platform failure, labour disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances affecting the project, publication, production, fulfilment, event, or verification process.

20. Amendments

We may update, amend, or revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on the official website and will take effect from the stated date of update unless otherwise specified.

Continued use of the website, verification system, reservation platform, or related services after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

21. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
